The case of Nicaragua and political persecution in an opinion column by Prof. Kai Ambos
Prof. Dr. Kai Ambos is Professor of Criminal, Procedural and Comparative Law; International Criminal Law; and Public International Law at the University of Göttingen (Germany). Prof. Ambos wrote a column for the newspaper El Espectador in which he explains the case of Nicaragua in terms of its pertinence for international law. In his column, he also raises the idea that this case is an “aggravated form of political persecution”.
