Stefan peters on DW apropos of Gustavo Petro’s victory in Colombia
«Colombia-Germany relations are good right now and will remain very positive, we have, in my view, four great opportunities and a possible dispute»

Professor Peters mentioned four areas where Petro’s victory could lead to progress in bi-national relations with Germany: in bolstering the peace process, Petro’s socio-ecological program, increasing agricultural productivity, and the call for Latin American political integration.
«In order to reduce social inequalities, we need to address the social crisis through social emergency policies and by increasing employment formalization», said Stefan Peters, bearing in mind that combating social inequality is one of the biggest challenges that Gustavo Petro will meet during his presidential term.
