Stefan Peters in DAAD special issue on feminist foreign policy
How does DAAD’s work relate to the German government’s feminist foreign and development policy objectives?
This installment of the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) features an interview with CAPAZ Director Stefan Peters, who provides his point of view on these ideas that are being developed by the German government.
Peters explains that the inclusion of gender and intersectionality perspectives are fundamental to stabilize peace in Colombia. He says that it is important to listen to the voices of the groups that have suffered and continue to suffer the most from the armed conflict. The issues of the climate crisis and coming to terms with one’s own colonial past are also central to cooperation with victims’ organisations.
