Open Session with Luis Gabriel Salas at the CAPAZ School of Online Courses
The online course: “Territorial Dynamics and Conflicts”, coordinated by Universidad de Caldas for the CAPAZ School of Online Courses (ECV) in 2021 is inviting all those interested to join the open access conference by researcher Luis Gabriel Salas: “The territorial challenges for peacebuilding in Colombia”.
The conference will take place on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 9:00 am. (Colombia time), and broadcast on the YouTube channel: The territorial dynamics and conflicts project
In 2017, Luis Gabriel Salas, based at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, coordinated one of the projects selected in that year’s call for proposals to receive support from CAPAZ. The project addressed the dynamics of armed organisations and criminal structures in regions in conflict, focusing on the case of Tumaco, Nariño.

Professor Salas, Jonas Wolff (PRIF/HSFK) and Fabián Eduardo Camelo (Universidad Nacional de Colombia) published a CAPAZ Working Paper on this issue, in 2018.

The same authors edited an article on the territorial dynamics in Tumaco, before and after FARC-EP demobilisation for the English-language publication “Conflict, Security & Development”.
