In Transitional Justice scenarios, the devices for reconstructing memories of war and conflict are one of the main topics of study. The problem to be explored in this project has to do with the forms of truth production in a country with a history of conflict and violence and, therefore, with the Truth Discursive Regimes (cultural, legal and symbolic) that legitimize production of memories and formalize discourse of the past.
In the first phase, the project reflects on the ethical problem of truth and the construction, production, validation and circulation of past memories. The second phase involves meetings with ex-combatant women who have carried out their reintegration process in different municipalities of the Cundinamarca Department in Colombia. These meetings encourage oral discourse, and reading and writing narratives about their experiences as ex-combatants.
