Transitional justice and education policies for the memory

The workshop ‘Transitional Justice and Education Policies for the Memory’ aims to gather a number of Colombian, Latin American and German experts, who will discuss and exchange ideas regarding the role of the education policy of memory in transitional contexts. The results of the workshop will be taken into account for the making of a diagnosis regarding education policy and public policies of the memory in the context of implementing the Peace Agreement in Colombia that will be carried out by the Georg Eckert Institute (GEI) from Germany. The GEI studies scholar texts and educational media, and gives advise in national and international levels, regarding issues related with politics and educational practices, as well as the conception of school contents.
