CAPAZ Director joins the panel on social organisations, violence and peace
CAPAZ Academic Director and Professor of Peace Studies at JLU Giessen, Prof. Dr. Stefan Peters will be one of the panellists at the online meeting on social organisations, violence and peacebuilding, which is part of the “Dilemmas of the post-agreement in Colombia” cycle, coordinated by the JANUS Group at Universidad del Rosario, and backed by CAPAZ. The online panel will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. (Colombian time), and broadcast live on Facebook Live @InterculturalidadUR
Professor Peters will be joined on the panel by Diana Gómez (CIDER, Universidad de los Andes); Víctor Barrera (CINEP) and Julie Massal (IFEA). Ana Guglielmucci (Universidad del Rosario) will moderate the discussion.
Running from April 7 to May 5, 2021, the online lecture series has brought together expert voices on the complexities of peacebuilding and overcoming the armed conflict in Colombia, five years after the signing of the Final Agreement. All online sessions are open to the public and available on the above channels and at the times indicated. The series is supported by CAPAZ, CINEP, Instituto Colombiano de Antropología e Historia (ICANH), the UNESCO Chair in Education and Culture for Peace at CAPAZ founding institution, Universidad del Rosario.
