Justus-Liebig UNiversity Giessen (JLU) joins CEV’S presentation of final report in Berlin and Frankfurt
The Justus-Liebig University, Giessen (JLU) recently published a statement explaining the significance and importance of the presentation of the Truth Commission’s Final Report, that will take place in Berlin and Frankfurt this week.
«The report is based on the testimonies of some 30,000 people from victims’ organizations, civil society, former guerrillas and paramilitaries, military, businesspeople, etc., other reports and the Truth Commission’s own research. The report thus contributes to the clarification of the past and to the end of the conflict and the construction of a stable and lasting peace in Colombia. The final report also contains recommendations to avoid repeating the violence of the past».
