David Díaz Arias speaks at the seminar on Latin America

“Violence, Peace and Memory in Central America, 1976-1996”, was the title of the lecture given by researcher David Díaz Arias (Universidad de Costa Rica and CALAS Centroamérica y El Caribe). The talk was held on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. (Colombia time), as part of the academic agenda of the international seminar on violence and conflicts in Latin America from the perspectives of history and memory.

The international seminar brings together interested audiences with experts from Latin American and European universities to reflect on and discuss Latin American dynamics according to the contexts of violence and conflict in each country. The series of lectures is organised by CAPAZ, the Institute for Latin American and Caribbean Studies at Universidad del Norte, Justus Liebig University Giessen, and CALAS. The sessions are streamed through the Uninorte Acádemico Youtube channel.
