Award ceremony
The German Ambassador to Colombia, Peter Ptassek, and CAPAZ Director, Stefan Peters, will award the winning photos, chosen by the jury among more than 200 images received. Special mention will be made to the three favourites among the public, based on the voting of CAPAZ supporters on Instagram. The event will provide an opportunity to meet those who captured the twelve winning visions of the yearning for peace in Colombia.

Discussion meeting
Following the awards, photographers Luisa González, Federico Rios and researcher Angelika Rettberg—all three members of the jury for the competition—will join the audience in a discussion entitled “Luces y sombras: desafíos desafíos de hacer fotografía en tiempos de transición hacia la paz“. This informal exchange with the audience will revolve around photography in contexts of conflict and transition to peace.
The event is organized and convened by CAPAZ, supported by Universidad de los Andes and the German Embassy in Colombia.
