Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Fescol course: understanding the milestones of the Colombian armed conflict
Red Paz belonging to CAPAZ member institution, Universidad Nacional de Colombia, together with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Foundation in Colombia (FESCOL) have organised and invite all interested parties to join the course entitled: “From Armed Conflict to Peacebuilding”, starting on March 3, 2021 through June 9, 2021, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon (Colombia time).
The course will be run live and online on the Red Paz Youtube and Facebook channels.
Brief description of the course
The programme is designed to retrace the milestones of the Colombian armed conflict, with a view to analysing the various political negotiation efforts to put an end to the armed confrontation. It will review the material and immaterial, political, cultural and psychosocial damage caused by the war to the various sectors, communities, and groups, along with initiatives implemented by victims, civil society organisations and human rights defenders to claim the rights to reparation, truth, justice and non-repetition.
Spaces are limited and registration is open until Monday, March 1, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. (Colombia time) using the online registration form. All those who meet the requirements will be entitled to a certificate of attendance.
