CAPAZ 2020 call for research project funding

CAPAZ has launched a call for applications for research projects on peacebuilding in Colombia, and will finance a maximum of five (5) research projects with a grant of up to 5.000 € (five thousand euro) for each.
The project must be run between July 2020 and May 2021.
El proyecto debe ejecutarse entre julio de 2020 y mayo de 2021.
Explanatory note:
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, the dates for project completion are open to possible changes so as to ensure that adequate conditions for fieldwork are in place.
Purpose of the call:
To promote the generation, dissemination and exchange of academic knowledge by funding research projects on topics that contribute to peacebuilding in Colombia. Likewise, to support German-Colombian cooperation in particular, and international cooperation in general concerning these research projects.
Addressed to:
Colombian and German research groups that have cooperative relations in both countries and work on research topics related to peacebuilding in Colombia. The foregoing does not mean that research groups from other countries cannot apply.
Thematics:
The call will fund research projects in the following thematic areas: peacebuilding practices; transitional justice and human rights; and peace, conflict and territorial reconfiguration. Closing date:
All documentation must be submitted as a single PDF by 11 pm Colombian time (11:00 pm – Colombian time) on June 4, 2020, to the following email address:

Applications submitted after this date or that do not meet the requirements will not be considered.
