Researchers Jefferson Jaramillo Marín (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana); Alberto Antonio Berón Ospina (Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira), and Carlos Alfonso Victoria Mena (Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira) share their contribution entitled: “Territorial appeasement and social insubordination in a ‘Red Square’. The case of Quinchía, Colombia”, published in Anuario Colombiano de Historia Social y de la Cultura (Vol. 47, No. 2, July-December 2020).
The article is the result of the peace initiative: “Persistence of community ties and processes of memory and peace, the Quinchía case”, supported by CAPAZ in 2018-2019.

Anuario Colombiano de Historia Social y de la Cultura is an internationally recognised academic publication issued by the School of Human Sciences at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. The article appeared in an issue dedicated to the subject of violence in Colombia, coordinated by María Victoria Uribe and Mario Aguilera, and was submitted to an entire evaluation process.
