CAPAZ ECV hosts Kroc Institute open session on its Barometer initiative

As part of its public academic agenda and through its Online Course School (ECV), CAPAZ invites all those interested to an online conference entitled: “Knowledge, experience, and action on implementation: the Kroc Institute’s Barometer Initiative in Colombia”, to be held on Tuesday March 2, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. (Colombia time).
Interested parties will be able to follow the event through the CAPAZ Youtube channel.
Speakers*:
Josefina Echavarría Álvarez. Director of the Peace Accords Matrix (PAM). PhD in Peace, Conflict and Democracy (University Jaume I). Former co-director of the Research Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Innsbruck. Dr. Echavarría has teaching experience at numerous universities in the areas of peacebuilding, peace education, gender, conflict analysis and research methods. She has also worked on a number of international cooperation projects in these fields, in citisenship, and in curriculum development for conflict and peace studies.
Elisa Ditta. Research Associate of the Peace Accords Matrix (PAM). Master’ s degree in International Peace Studies (Kroc Institute), BA in International Development and Spanish (Calvin College). USAID Fellowship in Colombia on urban violence and territorial peace in the Caribbean. Former Communications Director for the Association for a More Just Society in Honduras.
Patrick MacQuestion. Research Associate of the Peace Accords Matrix (PAM). Master’s degree in Development Management and Policy (Georgetown University, Universidad Nacional de San Martín). Previously collaborated with the Argentinean Ministry for Modernisation. BA in English (Reed College).

The online conference is one of the open sessions included in the “Knowledge Management and Governance for Peacebuilding” course, which is part of the CAPAZ ECV programme designed and implemented in partnership with the School of Finance, Government and International Relations at Universidad Externado de Colombia. Registration is now closed for the online course that will run from February 24 to May 5, 2021.
