CAPAZ VISITED UNIVERSITIES IN BARRANQUILLA AND CALI

The Academic Director of the CAPAZ Institute, Prof. Dr. Stefan Peters was invited by the Center for European Studies at the Universidad del Norte and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in the city of Barranquilla to hold his lecture on some aspects of the Colombian peace process. Prof. Dr. Peters held his lecture at the university in Barranquilla on September 24, 2018. The lecture was free of charge.
In the city of Cali, Prof. Dr. Stefan Peters visited the Universidad del Valle. He held his lecture on September 26, 2018, invited by the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in the city.

In both universities, Prof. Dr. Peters talked with students and researchers about the challenges of peace building in Colombia, specifically in contexts of inequality. He emphasized the need to promote political participation of Colombian citizens and to offer structured peace contents at all educational levels.
The Academic Director of CAPAZ presented the Institute as the academic networking platform which aims to promote exchange between researchers and universities in Colombia and Germany.
