CAPAZ Science Collaborator Juliette Vargas was interivewd by the German news channel Tagesschau, about the presidential election in Colombia.
The article comments on the electoral process the country is currently immersed in, and relates this situation with a short interview with a former FARC combatant who now has a business venture through which she works towards peacebuilding.
Maryiin Hernandez was a member of the FARC guerrilla until, like thousands of ex-guerrillas, she handed in her weapons. After almost 6 years, she feels disappointed with the peace process, as many problems remain unresolved (…). But Maryiin is hopeful about these elections”.
