Fourth and final episode of the CAPAZ “Eddy’s postcards” podcast
Listen to Eddy’s latest sound postcard! Montes de María, in northern Colombia, is a vast region of majestic landscapes, joyful communities, and lively traditions, and Eddy seems to know this region well. “Resist and persist”, that’s what Eddy has called the fourth and last episode of his podcast series “Eddy’s postcards”. The people of Montes de María have fought and continue to defend their territories, despite such harsh violence and persistent stigmatisation. Diana Ojeda is a researcher and teacher, and Duván Caro is a journalist and community leader. Both know this region very well. Eddy sees them meet again and listens to their conversation. Through research and collaboration with various social initiatives, they tell Eddy what they know about peasant social resistance, natural resources, food sovereignty, and good living. The “Eddy’s postcards” series comes to an end after four sound journeys through geographies, realities, and voices around challenges and successes towards the possibility of peace in Colombia. Listen to them and let us know through the CAPAZ social networks if you would like to hear more of these sound postcards. Have you already imagined what Eddy might look like?
