Call for a winter school in Frankfurt on the truth commission report
As part of the Alfredo Molano Bravo Chair, organised by CAPAZ and several of its partner universities, the Goethe University invites applications for its winter school: “The CEV report: a historical archive for Colombia’s future”. The school will take place in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, from November 28 to December 1, 2022.
The following thematic axes will be addressed:
- The final CEV report: Archives, collective memories, and subaltern uses.
- Colombia outside Colombia. Exile chapter of the final report.
- Gender focus in the report. CEV Transmedia Platform.
- Ethnic focus in the report. CEV Transmedia Platform.
The call targets people who are carrying out or have completed academic research on any of the thematic axes, peacebuilding, and/or memory processes, as well as those belonging to organisations or collectives working on human rights, peacebuilding, or similar issues. Ongoing research or papers on the work and experience of the participating organisations may also be presented. The school will be held in Spanish, but presentations can also be made in German.
