SStefan Peters, Director of CAPAZ speaks to DW, “In Colombia you can die defending a natural reserve, opposing a port, being part of the LGBTI community, or by laying down your arms. The problem goes deeper than the death toll suggests”.
In a recent online issue of Deutsche Welle (DW), CAPAZ Academic Director, Prof. Dr. Stefan Peters, clearly specifies who the specific victims of violence in Colombia are in the context of social leadership: “Citizens who practice democracy in the regions are stigmatised, persecuted and killed. The violence puts the country’s Peace Accord, and peace itself at risk”.
