CAPAZ, highlighted in the German Federal Government’s report on foreign cultural relations and educational policy for 2019
The German Parliament (Der Bundestag) recently published the Federal Government’s 23rd Report on Foreign Cultural Relations and Education Policy.
In the report, CAPAZ is recognised as one of the outstanding activities of the German government’s administration in the preceding year: “Das Deutsch-Kolumbianische Friedensinstitut CAPAZ hat seiner Arbeit neues Gewicht verleihen können, auch durch die Besuche des Bundespräsidenten Frank-Walter Steinmeier und des Bundesministers des Auswärtigen Heiko Maas”. (CAPAZ has gained new momentum in terms of its work, not least thanks to the official visits of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Heiko Maas).
Published annually by the Bundestag, through the Parliament and the Upper House of Representatives’ Joint Information System (Dokumentations- und Informationssystem für Parlamentarische Vorgänge – DIP), the report sets out the objectives, focus and projects of Germany’s foreign cultural and educational policy, as well as the country’s foreign economic policy and foreign policy communication strategy.
