Nicaragua, the topic addressed by Roberto González Arana at the seminar on violence and conflict in Latin America

 

Universidad del Norte professor, Roberto González Arana, will give an online lecture entitled: “Nicaragua. Dictatorship and Revolution”, as part of the International Seminar on the History and Memory of Violence and Conflict in Latin America, which will run until November 2020.

Professor González’s lecture will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. Colombian time, and shown on the Uninorte Académico Youtube channel.

Roberto González Arana is also director of the Institute for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, attached to Universidad del Norte (Colombia), organiser of this online conference cycle, in conjunction with the CAPAZ, Justus Liebig University Giessen (Germany) and CALAS.

Every Tuesday, between August and November 2020, the International Seminar on the History and Memory of Violence and Conflict in Latin America will offer a programme that includes open lectures to the public, guided by researchers from the region and Europe, who have a long history of investigating and teaching past and present problems in Latin American countries.
