Vniversitas No. 69: Special co-edition with CAPAZ
The articles in the special issue form part of the project entitled: “Procedural Law of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace: Strengths, weaknesses and challenges of criminal law in contexts of transitional justice“, selected in the CAPAZ call for “Exploratory Studies” in 2018.
The project was presented by Professor Lorena Vega and Professor Gustavo Cote (Universidad Pontificia Javeriana), in association with Professor Kai Ambos (University of Göttingen, Germany) and Professor María Cristina Gómez (Universidad de Antioquia). As part of the project, several experts were invited to discuss some problematic aspects of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace and its operations.
Before being subjected to blind academic peer review, the results of individual research and preliminary versions of articles were socialised among the guests at the discussion seminar held on May 27 and 28, 2019 at Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá. The final versions of the studies conducted by the project participants have been collected in the special issue of Vol. 69 Ongoing publication of the Vniversitas journal.
Juliette Vargas, CAPAZ Scientific Collaborator and researcher of CEDPAL at the University of Göttingen participated with her contribution entitled: Collective participation of victims before the special jurisdiction for peace (JEP).
