CAPAZ Academic Director will attend the Aula Abierta at the Institute of Philosophy at U. de A.
With his lecture on memory and peacebuilding, CAPAZ Academic Director and Professor of Peace Studies at Justus Liebig University Giessen, Prof. Dr. Stefan Peters will be one of the guests at the “Aula Abierta Alejandro Alberto Restrepo Restrepo” event.
Prof. Dr. Peters will present his paper on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Admission is free.
“Aula Abierta”, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Francisco Cortés Rodas, professor at the Institute of Philosophy at Universidad de Antioquia, is an academic activity which is open to the public. During the first semester of 2020 and until April, the Aula Abierta academic agenda will address issues and problems of transitional justice, peace, forgiveness, memory and land.
Besides Prof. Peters, there will be other expert guest speakers representing Universidad de Antioquia, Universidad de Medellín, Universidad EAFIT, Universidad de la Sabana (Bogotá) and the Commission for the Clarification of the Truth (CEV) in Colombia.
The public lecture takes place every Wednesday between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 m. in the Auditorio Torre de la Memoria at Pública Piloto de Medellín Library.
