LAURA RESTREPO LECTURE AT UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL: “LITERATURE, DISASTER AND PEACE. LOCAL AND GLOBAL SCENARIO”
The German-Colombian Peace Institute – CAPAZ, in partnership with the Master’s in Literary Studies and Creative Writing at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, is pleased to invite Colombian author Laura Restrepo to a lecture entitled “Literature, Disaster and Peace. Local and Global Scenario”, which will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Science and Technology Building at Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá. Admission is free.
By invitation of CAPAZ, the Colombian writer will also participate in a public discussion on literature, violence and memory on June 5, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at CAPAZ headquarters in Claustro de San Agustín. This event is part of the CAPAZ Spotlight on Peace series of events and is organised in partnership with the Cultural Heritage Department at Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
