III Networking meeting on Education, Science and Technology between Colombia and Germany
Dr. Carlos Nupia, Administrative Director of the Colombian-German Peace Institute – CAPAZ, will participate in the third Colombian-German networking meeting with a focus on education, science and technology.
The event will take place on May 13 and 14, 2019, at the Botanical Gardens in Bogota, Colombia.
The event is designed to promote the active exchange between Colombia and Germany, focused on university and academic cooperation with the aspiration to advance a roadmap in those fields for the period of 2019-2021.
The network meeting is a diplomatic mechanism to deepen the bilateral relations in areas such as academic cooperation, science, technology and education, as well as to define and explore future agendas between countries.
Dr Nupia will participate in this space alongside officials from several German institutions, such as: Ministry of Education (BMBF); German Embassy in Colombia; DAAD- German Academic Exchange Service; HGF- The Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres; DFG – German Research Association; Max Planck Society; Leibniz Association; Colombo-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce; Freie Universität Berlin and the Botanical Gardens as well as the Botanical Museum Berlin.
